Louis Tomlinson also finally returned to Twitter to thank the fans for five years of the band as the boys posted heartfelt messages.
Can you believe it’s been FIVE years already since One Direction and their gorgeous faces entered all of our lives? Well it has indeed and the boys are pretty thankful for all the support they have had during those five amazing years.
The Directioners got #5YearsOfOneDirection trending worldwide on Twitter this week and the boys have posted long heartfelt tributes to the fans that have got them to where they are today.
Harry Styles told the fans:
We have been a band for five years. And it is impossible to thank anyone enough for all the support they have given us over this time..

Louis Tomlinson has been pretty quiet on Twitter since the news broke that he may be expecting a baby with one of his friends, but he also posted a series of messages thanking the fans for their ongoing support:
