Nicki Minaj originally planned to go into acting before becoming a singer – and she’s got a killer throw, too!

Nicki Minaj may be at the top of the singing game now, but the ‘Anaconda’ star originally planned to go down a different route… as an actress!

A clip has emerged of Nicki taking part in a high school acting class at LaGuardia High School in a dramatic scene, which sees her throw a phone at her co-star – ouch!

It looks like Nicki got a bit too passionate in the scene as her acting coach gets worried she may have actually hit her fellow actress with the phone in the emotionally charged skit.

We definitely wouldn’t want to get on the wrong side of Ms Minaj after seeing that throw – yikes!
