The 'Pink Friday' star came under fire from some fans after pulling out at the last minute.
Nicki Minaj has launched an angry tirade on Twitter against people who criticised her for cancelling her appearance at V Festival.
The 'Pink Friday' star pulled out of the event on Saturday morning (18th August) due to ongoing problems with her voice.
She had been about to board a plane to the UK when she was deemed too ill to perform at the festival in Chemlsford and Staffordshire.
In a series of messages on Twitter, Nicki slammed people who criticised her for having to cancel at the last minute.
Nicki said she was "absolutely gutted" that she could not travel to the UK and said she had no time for critics of her decision not to attend.
She wrote: "I will NOT let you people make me feel horrible for a f***ing HEALTH issue! That's what got me in this mess! I shldve listened 2 the doctor!"
Nicki began suffering problems with her voice after two gigs in New York last week where she was joined by Drake:
In another message, Nicki said: "My beloved United Kingdom, u know how much I f***ing love u! Ireland, I truly appreciate you. Barbz, thnku for the well wishes."
She then added: "Barbz, u know how much I hate disappointing u guys."
Nicki was hit by voice problems after she played two gigs in New York last week – with doctors telling her she was too ill to travel and risked long-term damage to her voice.
