Katy Perry Praises Nicki Minaj And Rihanna's Fly Video
Katy Perry shows the love on Twitter for her BFF's collaboration with Nicki Minaj.
Nicki Minaj and Rihanna debuted their brand new 'Fly' video at the MTV VMAs this weekend, and Rihanna's bezzie mate Katy Perry has shown her love for their work on Twitter.
"@NICKIMINAJ yo! I watched Fly last night and it is beautiful," Katy posted
"Congrats mama... worth the wait!"
The 'Pink Friday' star revealed the inspiration behind the video's dramatic storyline which sees RiRi and Nicki roaming the streets in a trashed neighbourhood.
"The song itself is a very inspiring record and when I did it with Rihanna I just thought this screamed girl power," Nicki told Capital's showbiz reporter Kevin Hughes.
"So I wanted to paint a picture of the end of the world or the end of something and then life being breathed back into that.
"And just being amazing at the end because of you know just being able to get back up after you fall."
