Nicki Minaj Unveils Carnival Themed Music Video For New Single 'Pound The Alarm'

The 'Starships' rapper shot her latest video in her home country of Trinidad.
Nicki Minaj shows off her colourful side in the carnival themed music video for her brand new single 'Pound The Alarm'.
The 'Beez In The Trap' rapper dons brightly coloured traditional Caribbean carnival outfits in her latest promo video, which was filmed in her home country of Trinidad at the start of July.
Nicki unveils the brand new clip this afternoon (31st July) and is joined by similarly clad dancers in the video, as she performs on the back of a trailer as people join her to party in the street.
The 'Starships' rapper has described shooting the video as the "best time" of her life, and teased the video in a behind the scenes clip last week.

Nicki's recent single 'Starships' also reached a milestone when it made history by scoring the most consecutive weeks inside the Billboard Hot 100 top ten, after spending 21 weeks there.
Nicki Minaj is set to return to the UK this autumn, alongside support act Misha B, when she kicks off an 11-date UK arena tour on 21st October at the Nottingham Arena.
