The 'Super Bass' rapper has credited the 'Music' singer with teaching her the value of working hard.
Nicki Minaj says working with Madonna on their acclaimed Super Bowl halftime show earlier this month changed her life.
The 'Stupid Hoe' rapper performed 'Give Me All Your Luvin' alongside Madonna and fellow rapper M.I.A. at the Indianapolis Super Bowl last week (5th February), and says watching the 'MDNA' star at work was inspirational.
"Meeting Madonna changed my life. Working with Madonna changed my life," Nicki told Ryan Seacrest yesterday (13th February).
"I saw how much Madonna sacrificed and how much she rehearses and rehearses and rehearses and rehearses, and everyone there was like, 'We got it'. But she was like, 'No, I want you to know this choreography in your sleep."
Nicki added: "This performance was it and this is the first performance that I'm proud of in my entire career.
The 'Super Bass' rapper also performed her song 'Roman Holiday' at the Grammy Awards on Sunday (12th February).
Nicki Minaj's next single 'Starships' received its first play on Capital FM earlier today and will be the second release from her upcoming album 'Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded'.
