The 'Moment 4 Life' rapper says having her own Barbie doll is a big thing for her and her fans.
Nicki Minaj says one of the proudest moments of her career so far has been having Mattel craft a one-of-a-kind Barbie in her image.
The 'Super Bass' rapper serves as the likeness for a one-off doll to be auctioned off for charity later this week, and Nicki says it's a special moment for both her and her 'Barbz'.
"It's just a one of a kind, limited edition for charity," Nicki told Billboard Friday (2nd December). "I never thought Mattel would even pay attention to me.
"For me this is a very major moment, because it just shows that you can come from nothing and still be a force in the main world, a business woman, and hopefully a mogul one day!"
"Barbie is obviously a pop culture icon," spokeswoman Stefani Yocky added. "And Nicki is a big part of pop culture and also huge within the fashion industry, as well as a big Barbie fan."
Nicki Minaj unveiled ' Roman In Moscow' last week as the first track to be released from her second studio album 'Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded'.
