The 'Starships' rapper and her entourage were turned away as they looked to celebrate her latest record launch.
Nicki Minaj was denied access into her own album party in New York this week as she and a group of friends celebrated the launch of 'Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded The Re-Up'.
The 'Pound The Alarm' singer apparently turned up to a nightclub in the Big Apple with an entourage of about 25 people, only to be told the venue was full to capacity and she could not enter, reports RadarOnline.
"She wanted to celebrate with her fans, but she was denied entry at the door by the police because they said the venue was at capacity and there was nothing they could do to accommodate her," a source told the publication.
Eyewitnesses at the spot said the rapper was less than happy as she was forced to go elsewhere.
"Nicki wasn't happy about it, so she and her group just left," they said.
The rapper was also involved in another embarrassing incident this week, suffering a wardrobe malfunction as she appeared on a chat show.
Nicki's new album 'Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded The Re-Up' is available now.
