Miley Cyrus roasts Cody Simpson for calling her "baby" on Instagram

It's getting pretty serious, guys.

Miley Cyrus and Cody Simpson are being all public on Instagram – and he's already given her a pet name. In case you haven't heard, Miley Cyrus and Cody were spotted kissing over açaí bowls and it became a big thing.

Basically, Miley absolutely lost it on her Instagram Story after footage emerged of her locking lips with the Australian singer. Miley said that men "rarely" ever get slut-shamed like women do, and here she is just trying to enjoy herself and her dating life is getting dragged.

Anyway, that seems to all be behind her now. Cody is even showing Miley off on Instagram – and they're singing "I love you" to each other. Cody posted a photo of himself tenderly kissing Miley's forehead on his Instagram Story, with the caption: "Pre swim breakfast courtesy of baby."

Of course, Miley could already sense the headlines, rumours and reports, so she decided to make light of the situation before anyone else did.

The Hannah Montana star shared a photo of herself on her Instagram Story, and captioned it: "BABY." She then actually posted her baby pictures and a selfie with the caption "ship already".

Shortly afterwards, Cody taped himself singing Elvis Presley's 'KU-U-I-PO' with Miley. He sung the lyric: "Oh, I love you more today than yesterday/But not as much as tomorrow." Interesting…

Despite these very public declarations, according to reports, Miley isn't looking for anything serious with Cody because she only separated from her husband Liam Hemsworth in August. She also reportedly broke things off with Kaitlynn Carter not that long ago too.

"Cody and Miley have no plans to start dating each other exclusively," a source told Entertainment Tonight. "They both just want to have fun and are open and honest with each other about that."

The source added: "Cody’s friends would describe him as a 'player.' He adores Miley, but isn’t looking for a lifetime partner or even a girlfriend at the moment."
