Lady Gaga's X Factor Fail

Simon Cowell says Gaga wouldn't have made it past the first auditions.

The X Factor Mogul said if a pre-famous Lady Gaga auditioned for the show, she'd have been laughed out of the room.

"She would have been thrown out within ten seconds," Simon spilled.

"Even if she had walked in with a lobster on her head it would have been one of the kooky auditions."

But it looks like Gaga has opened Simon's mind to a new kind of talent.

This series of the US X Factor Simon says someone quirky like Mother Monster could be exactly what he's looking for.

"Now you have to be more open-minded and embrace that level of expression," he revealed.

"You hope to god you can find someone like her."
