The pair are set to hit the studio soon to begin working with a big swing band on a new album together.
Lady Gaga is keen to record a jazz album with Tony Bennett.
The 'Born This Way' singer previously collaborated with the veteran singer on a cover of 'The Lady Is A Tramp' for his last album 'Duets II'.
Now, according to Rolling Stone, Lady Gaga wants the pair to record an entire album alongside a swing band.
"[Lady Gaga] called me from New Zealand and said, 'I want to do a jazz album with you', and I said, 'You got it'!" Tony told Rolling Stone.
The 86-year-old singer said Lady Gaga was a "phenomenal jazz singer" and that they hoped to go into the recording studio together "soon".
"She's a good friend and I respect that she's so creative, that every day she changes, she has so many ideas and carries them out," he said. "She just never stops with it. I call her the musical Picasso."
Lady Gaga is currently on her 'Born This Way Ball' world tour and this week announced details of a new Body Revolution campaign.
The star is also preparing her third studio album 'ARTPOP', which is expected to be released next year.
