It has been confirmed that Lady Gaga is set to appear as a guest star The Simpsons, and she gets a pretty feisty role in the show.
"I play a little bit of a sl*t," GaGa said. "The apple doesn't fall far from my artistic tree."
Gaga has made no secret of her excitement to be involved in the series as she declared the recording of her lines for the series to be "one of the coolest things (she's) ever done".
"My dad's probably going to do 80 back flips when the episode comes out."
The 'Judas' star has admitted that recording the voice for her character was a completely different experience to hitting the recording studio and worked hard on her acting skills.
"I make music, but I don't do voice-overs every day of the week," Gaga said.
"Their characters are so awesomely convincing and sincere and wild and funny, I had to remind myself constantly of the sincerity of the humour.
"That's what I was trying to focus on, not putting on a character too much and really being as sincere as I could with the lines."
Mother Monster heads to Springfield for the “Lisa Goes GaGa” episode next year, where she's set to give Lisa Simpson a huge confidence boost and apparently enjoys a smooch with Marge!
Lady Gaga's new single 'You And I' is released on 18th September.
