The 'You & I' singer has been rumoured for a potential collaboration with the classic rock band for the next James Bond soundtrack.

Lady Gaga and Queen have been tipped by bookies to perform the theme tune for new James Bond film, Skyfall.

Bond theme composer David Arnold suggests Queen would be perfect for the next soundtrack, prompting speculation that Gaga could sing with them after comments by guitarist Brian May hinting at a potential collaboration.

"We still hope to do something with Gaga in the future," Brian told the Daily Star recently. "We've been close to doing something for TV before – she is an inspiration."

"I'm a massive Queen fan and I would love them to do a theme tune," Arnold said this week. "Imagine how ridiculously bombastic a Queen anthem could be.

Bookmakers Paddy Power are now offering odds of 25-1 that Queen and Lady Gaga will collaborate together on a theme for the 23rd James Bond film.

Lady Gaga released her festive EP 'A Very Gaga Holiday' earlier today, two days ahead of its expected launch

Skyfall, which sees Daniel Craig reprising his role as the super spy, is expected in cinemas in October 2012.
