The 'Marry The Night' singer opens up about the VMAs and says her new song is dedicated to her fans.
Lady Gaga has joked that she has "cut out the poultry and the vegetables" while planning out her ideas for what to do as her highly anticipated performance at the MTV Video Music Awards 2013.
The 'Judas' singer has become renowned for her controversial outfits and performances at the annual MTV awards show, with previous iconic moments including the US star wearing a dress made out of real meat and emerging on stage from a giant egg.
"I'm in the Top 50 right now," Lady Gaga told Ryan Seacrest on-air this week, when asked whether she has settled on an idea for the performance. "We're narrowing it down."
Despite still being in the planning stages of her big VMAs comeback, Gaga promises fans she won't be trying to repeat her infamous meat dress with a similar food-based outfit this time around.
"I've cut out the poultry and the vegetables and we're going for textiles!" she teased.

The 'Marry The Night' singer also revealed her fans inspired new single 'Applause' during the latter part of her 'Born This Way Ball' world tour, while she was still struggling with a chronic hip injury that eventually led to her having surgery.
"I was really going kind of crazy thinking, 'Your moves don't feel the same and it doesn't feel the same when you stand centre-stage', and everything just started to dwindle inside," Gaga recalled. "And the only thing that kept me going was the applause of the fans and their screaming and their faces every night looking up at me and saying, 'Gaga we love you no matter what'.
"It really kept me going," she added.
Lady Gaga will perform live at the MTV Video Music Awards 2013 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York on 25th August.
