Nothing plastic about Lady Gaga
Lady Gaga has slammed stars who promote plastic surgery during a photo shoot for Harper's Bazaar.
Gaga is on the cover of the May edition with facial horns (two horn like points on her face) but insists they are just cosmetic.
In the interview Gaga says "I have never had plastic surgery, and there are many pop singers who have.
"I think that promoting insecurity in the form of plastic surgery is infinitely more harmful than an artistic expression related to body modification.

She added (of the horns) "It's a performance-art piece. I have never, ever encouraged my fans or anyone to harm themselves, nor do I romanticize masochism".

In the interview she also talks about the influence of designer Alexander McQueen on her work. "Right after he died, I wrote 'Born This Way.' I think he's up in heaven with fashion strings in his hands, marionetting away, planning this whole thing."

Not everything works out for the star. She admits that her move to Hollywood was a bad one, ""I ran furiously back to New York, to my old apartment, and I hung out with my friends, and I went to the same bars."
