Lady Gaga Named One Of Highest Grossing Live Acts Of 2011

The 'Born This Way' singer's 'Monster Ball' tour took over $70 Million this year.

Lady Gaga has been named as one of the top grossing live acts of the year.

The 'Monster Ball' tour was the second worldwide outing for the star and took around $72 Million in 2011.

The tour ran from November 2009 and climaxed in May this year after over 200 shows.

Gaga came in seventh place in the top ten list which was topped by Irish rockers U2.

Usher, Take That and Bon Jovi all featured in the round-up which also featured a top five position for American country singer Taylor Swift.

The 'Marry The Night' star is expected to announce details of a rumoured 450-date two year world tour soon which her producer claims will be an exagerated 'Monster Ball' outing.

Meanwhile, Gaga will release a free unreleased track from her second studio album 'Born This Way' on Christmas Day.
