The 'Born This Way' singer says it would be a waste for her to buy property because she is always on the road.
Lady Gaga has described herself as "a gypsy" and says she has no plans to settle down and buy a house.
The 'Marry The Night' singer claims it would be a "waste of money" for her to buy property because she seems to spend most of her time touring.
"I'm a gypsy, you know," Gaga told Ellen DeGeneres during filming for the the NBC chat show. "I can't plan my life out life that so much.
"Then I think, well, gosh. What a waste of money to buy a house and I'm on the road."
"Even though it might not seem like a big deal because I'm a pop singer or whatever it still hurts to write a check," she told host Ellen. "It's a lot of money."
Gaga joked that when she completed her tax return for the year she had to "get completely wasted" because of how much she had to pay.
The ''You & I' singer recently hinted she will embark on a record-breaking two year tour of around 450 dates next year in support of her second album 'Born This Way'.
Lady Gaga has already begun working on her third album and claims she has already settled on a name for the record.
