The 'Bad Romance' star admits she sometimes worries she puts those close to her in the firing line.
Lady Gaga has confessed that her biggest worry in the world is the safety of her family.
The 'Telephone' singer told Oprah Winfrey during their intimate chat on new series Next Chapter that she sometimes fears her behavior and personality puts those close to her in danger.
She said: "You know the only thing that scares me truthfully? I just want my family to be safe. Because I am sometimes polarising I do fear for their safety. Sometimes I fear that I put them in the line of the fire that I'm willing to take."
The singer also revealed that she would not be speaking to the media for a very long time following the climax of the chat and admitted to once spending two weeks dressed as a man.
Meanwhile, the star is getting ready to head out on her worldwide 'Born This Way Ball' tour which will kick off next month in South Korea.
