Lady Gaga is being eyed up for a potential collaboration by country legend Dolly Parton.

The '9 to 5' singer says she would love to work with the 'Marry The Night' star on a duet at some point in the future.

"We'd be fun together, don't you think?" Dolly told E! Online during the premiere of her latest film Joyful Noise, which sees her singing with Queen Latifah.

"I think people would love that," the 'Jolene' singer teased. "But you know, you just wait.

Dolly added: "Those kind of things happen when they're supposed to."

Earlier this week rumours surfaced that the 'Born This Way' singer is looking for a house to move in with her reported boyfriend Taylor Kinney.

Lady Gaga recently confirmed is starting work on new material ready to release her third album sometime in 2012 as well as announcing plans for a new world tour.
