Lada Gaga's creative director Laurieann Gibson has admitted she almost walked out on the singer during filming for her new video 'Judas'.
Gibson, who co-directed the shoot for the single out April 19, was initially fearful of the direction the video was going because of its religious implications.
'It went through several changes because at one point there were two completely different views,' she told The Hollywood Reporter.
'I was like, 'Listen, I don’t want lightening to strike me. I believe in the gospel and I’m not going there.'
Gaga's long-term creative director went on to say she would have quit if she hadn’t agreed with the final version of the video.
The clip, which is yet to be unveiled, portrays the singer as Mary Magdalene with 'The Walking Dead' star Norman Reedus playing Judas.
The Catholic League For Religious And Civil Rights have already objected to the video.
