The 'Bad Romance' singer reacts to the surprise album and single announcement from the legendary musician.
Lady Gaga has taken to Twitter to reveal how she was left in a moment of "bliss" upon hearing David Bowie's new song 'Where Are We Now?' for the first time.
The 66 year-old star surprised the world on his birthday yesterday (8th January) when he announced the upcoming release of a new album and unveiled his first single in a decade.
"laying in bed high listening to Bowies new song," the singer tweeted this afternoon (9th January). "A moment of bliss I never thought Id have again. Listening to new bowie for the first time."
The track is the first to be taken from the Thin White Duke's new record 'The Next Day' and producer Tony Visconti has told fans to expect the album to contain a "rockier" sound than the lead single.
David Bowie will release new album 'The Next Day' on 11th March with new single 'Where Are We Now?' available to download now.

Meanwhile, Lady Gaga is also currently preparing for the release of her new album 'ARTPOP' this spring.
She is also rumoured to be featuring on Beyonce's comeback single, believed to be called 'Ratchet'.
