The pair have decided to separate so the 'Marry The Night' star can focus on her own career.
Lady Gaga's former creative director Laurieann Gibson has confirmed that she has stopped working with the 'Marry The Night' singer.
But Laurieann, who was responsible for some of Lady Gaga's most famous music videos, denied that she was fired.
Instead, she said that Lady Gaga had decided to take control of the creative side of her career.
"I am fulfilled with the work I have done with choreographing all of the iconic moves, creative directing the artist, appearances, shows, directing the tour, music videos, and the HBO Monster Ball, which was a culmination of my work as its creator and director," Laurieann told The Hollywood Reporter.
"Recently, Lady Gaga was motivated to take the helm of the creative direction of her career and as such I decided to step away. I am extremely proud of her, and in stepping away I wish her all the best. "
There had been speculation about Lady Gaga and Laurieann's working relationship since the singer revealed that she had directed her new video for 'Marry The Night'.
Meanwhile, Lady Gaga has revealed that she plans to tease fans with clips from the prelude to the video in the coming days.
The song is the latest single to be taken from her critically-acclaimed second album 'Born This Way'.
