The 'Work Bitch' singer's album will not feature Lady Gaga despite recent rumours.

William Orbit has denied recent claims that Britney Spears and Lady Gaga have teamed up on a new song called 'Alien'.

The songwriter confirmed the news on Twitter yesterday (30th October) that recent rumours about a collaboration between the pair are false.

"I see the rumours about a GG vocal collaboration on 'Alien' have died down," William Orbit tweeted this week. "U prob already know it, but can confirm: No collab."

The rumours of a Britney and Gaga team-up first came about after will.i.am, who executively produced the 'Work Bitch' singer's new album 'Britney Jean', tweeted Gaga using the hashtag #creativeAlien.

The seemingly innocent tweet was then picked up by fans after it was confirmed that one of the songs on Britney's new record is called 'Alien', although William Orbit's comments have now proved this incorrect.

US star Britney has confirmed that her album will have several team-ups on it but has yet to reveal who any of her collaborators have been.

Britney Spears releases 'Britney Jean' on 2nd December and Lady Gaga drops 'ARTPOP' on 11th November.
