Lady Gaga Becomes First Person To Reach 30 Million Twitter Followers

The 'You & I' singer reached a new milestone on the social networking site this week.
Lady Gaga has become the first person to reach the milestone of achieving 30 million followers on Twitter.
The 'Born This Way' singer's official twitter account now has a total of 30,053,829 followers as of today (5th October), making her the first to reach the social networking milestone.
Gaga's nearest rival on Twitter is 'Boyfriend' singer Justin Bieber who has a total of 28.5 million people following his tweets, while 'California Gurls' singer Katy Perry is not too far behind with 27.2 million.
'We Found Love' star Rihanna is the fourth most followed pop star with 26 million followers, but is ahead of the other stars on both YouTube and Facebook as of today.
According to Starcount, which monitors social media around the world, Lady Gaga is averaging a total of 30,000 new followers per day.

The 'You & I' star is currently performing across Europe on her new world tour and has performed shows in Milan, Italy and Nice, France this week.
Lady Gaga's 'Born This Way Ball' world tour continues in Barcelona, Spain on Saturday night (6th October) before taking a break until she heads over to South America at the end of October.
