The 'Never Say Never' star has also praised the US gymnastics team for winning the gold this week.
Justin Bieber has congratulated London 2012 Olympic Games star Missy Franklin and the US women's gymnastics team for their gold medal success at the event this week.
The 'Boyfriend' star send all five members of the gymnastics team a message yesterday (31st July) after they picked up the gold medal for their country, as well as tweeting to say he is a fan of American swimmer Missy after she won gold in the 100-metre backstroke event in London.
"Heard @FranklinMissy is a fan of mine. Now I'm a fan of hers too. CONGRATS on winning GOLD! #muchlove," Justin tweeted yesterday, to which Missy later replied: "I just died! Thankyou!"
The 'Boyfriend' singer also received messages in reply from the US gymnastics team, after he sent them a congratulatory message following their win in the women's team final competition on Tuesday.
"CONGRATS to @McKaylaMaroney @Jordynmarie2013 @kyla_ross96 @Aly_Raisman @gabrielledoug on your GOLD MEDL. #BeliebersWinGOLD #Proud," the Canadian singer posted.
"Thanks so much for the support!!" Kyla Ross replied, while fellow team star McKayla Maroney posted: "Thanks Justin, #dreamBIG!! did you get to watch it?"

In Addition to his praise for the US performers at this year's Olympic Games Justin also put out a tweet in support of his home country of Canada.
He added: "Now time for Canada to win some. #TeamCanada. #Olympics."
Justin Bieber is currently preparing to release his short film for new single 'As Long As You Love Me' later today (1st August).
