The 'Boyfriend' singer reveals David often checks in with him via text message.
Justin Bieber says he has become friends with David Beckham and has "hung out" with the former English footballer a number of times with his family.
The 'As Long As You Love Me' singer revealed the UK sports star has visited him in the studio before with sons Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz and that they keep in touch despite Justin's travels across the world.
"We've hung out a few times," Justin revealed to The Metro this week. "He came to the studio one time with his kids.
"He's just a super down to earth guy," Justin added. "[He] checks in once in a while and texts me."
'Boyfriend' singer Justin returned to the UK this week to begin promoting his newly published book Just Getting Started, and was mobbed by fans outside his hotel yesterday (12th September) a day after his arrival into London.

As soon as he landed back in England Justin met up with fellow pop singer and One Direction member Niall Horan for a jam session at the 'What Makes You Beautiful' singer's house in the UK capital, but revealed they were asked to keep it down by Niall's neighbours.
Justin Bieber's new book Just Getting Started was published today (13th September) and he is set to return to the US later this month to launch his 'Believe' world tour.
