Guetta 'influenced by rock music'

He might be most well known for his hit dance and club tracks, such as the recent number one smash featuring Flo Rida "Club Can't Handle Me", but David Guetta draws inspiration from a number of other musical genres, he revealed today.

"I might make dance music but that doesn't mean I'm not influenced by bands like Kings of Leon and Coldplay" Guetta has stated. "Right now I'm planning coming back with a new sound for my next album due out in summer 2011". We say, if he can have anything like the phenomenal levels of success that those bands have had, then he's doing very well indeed.

Guetta has had three UK number ones, and his current LP, 'One Love', has sold over 300,000 copies in the UK.
