Drinks Are On You! Calvin Harris Is The World's Highest Paid DJ – Earning £40mill!

Forbes has revealed the list of top earning DJs for the past year – and Calvin has made more money than Jay Z!

Hey Calvin, lend us a tenner?! Calvin Harris has topped the list of highest earning DJs in the world – and he rakes in more cash than Jay Z! 

Forbes have released their list of the highest earning DJs for 2013-2014, and Calvin Harris topped the list with earnings of $66million, which coverts to approximately £39.7million!

Calvin earnt his megabucks playing 125 gigs over the year, including performances at Coachella and his multi-year deal at America’s biggest nightclub, Hakkasan, in Las Vegas.

Calvin told Forbes, “The rise of dance music has been astronomical in the last three years… I happened to be in the right place at the right time." 

And it’s not the first time Calvin has topped the list – he was also the highest earner for 2013 with $46million earnings – meaning he’s upped his intake by a HUGE $20million in one year. That's one heck of a pay rise!
