The 'It Will Rain' star reportedly refers to his trademark barnet as the "Wamp and Stomp".
Bruno Mars has apparently confessed that he uses margarine and barbecue flavoured crisps to create his hair style.
According to Bang Showbiz, the 'Grenade' star uses a secret blend of unique ingredients on his trademark do.
He is quoted as saying: "I call my hairstyle the Wamp and Stomp. I can't give you exact measures but it's a lot of margarine, natural fruit juices and berries and, surprisingly, barbecue potato Popchips. It stays in place for a while after that."
The singer recently posted a picture of himself as a child which showed him sporting a giant afro style hair cut.
Bruno headed over to the UK last month for the BRIT Awards 2012 where he was crowned International Male Solo Artist and thanked the British public for their support after he returned to LA.
