The 'Marry You' singer's producer reveals details on the star's upcoming record saying it has a "throwback Nina Simone" feel.
Bruno Mars has been working in the studio with Adele's songwriter Paul Epworth, says his producer Benny Blanco.
The 'Grenade' man headed into the studio with the man behind the '21' star's hit single 'Rolling In The Deep' recently for what the produer called an "amazing" track.
"I got a really cool song with him," admitted Benny to Rolling Stone. "Me and Paul [Epworth] just got together and Bruno wrote an amazing song on top of it.
"It kind of all came together."
Describing the sound of the new song, he added: "It's like some throwback Nina Simone type s***, like 'Sinnerman.' It's Bruno. He can sing the A.B.C.'s and you'd be like, 'Holy f***!' He knows how to vibe."
Paul has also worked with the likes of Plan B, Florence & The Machine and Friendly Banks and picked up a Grammy for his work with Adele at this year's ceremony.

Bruno last updated fans on the progress of his new album last month when he revealed that he was about "half way" done.
The singer also premiered a new curly haircut at a Met Gala event the previous month.
