Beyonce Posts Her First Tweet On Twitter And Launches Tumblr Account

The singer has shared a host of candid photographs with her fans.

Beyonce has posted her first ever tweet on Twitter.

The 'Love On Top' singer, who has been out of the public eye in recent months following the birth of her first child, tweeted to tell her three million followers about her new website.

She wrote: "Hey World, It's B! I'm so excited to invite you to my new http://beyonce.com - we've been working hard, and it's finally ready for you XO."

As well as her new website, which features a forum called the "Beyhive", Beyonce has launched a Tumblr account.

The website features a series of private and candid pictures of the singer arranged on an infinity photo wall, including shots of her with husband Jay-Z.

Meanwhile, Beyonce recently announced plans to play three concerts in New York in May.

The shows will mark the 'Countdown' star's first live performances since the birth of Blue Ivy Carter in January.
