Beyonce Plays Saxophone As She Heads Into Recording Studio To Work On New Album

The 'Crazy In Love' star is also preparing to make her live return at next month's NFL Super Bowl.

Beyonce has shared a new picture from the recording studio as she continues work on her new album and prepares for her performance at the NFL Super Bowl next month.

The 'Love On Top' star can be seen playing a saxophone in a black and white image posted on her personal Tumblr account.

It's unclear whether the image was taken from a recording session or rehearsals for her 3^rd February halftime show performance at the sporting event.

Over the past few months, the singer has been teasing details from her new album, with a series of pictures from the studio.

She's rumoured to have teamed up with the likes of Kanye West, Ryan Tedder and Justin Timberlake on the album and Ne-Yo has also confirmed he's been writing with the female star.

The R&B star said he expected the pair to record something as grand as their previous collaboration 'Irreplaceable' and refused to divulge too many details on their work in fear of Jay-Z's wrath.

Beyonce will also be releasing a new HBO documentary on her life and career at the end of the next month.
