The 'Survivor' star responds to claims she and Kelly Rowland will join Beyonce on stage this weekend for the sporting event.

Destiny's Child member Michelle Williams has responded to recent claims that the group will reunite on stage during Beyonce's upcoming Super Bowl halftime show next month.

The 'Crazy In Love' singer will take to the stage at the annual NFL sporting extravaganza in New Orleans on Sunday night (3rd February) and it's widely reported that trio will perform a medley of their biggest hits during the show.

Speaking to WRUG, the singer was asked about preparing for the show when she dispelled the reports.

"That's not confirmed. It is rumoured. I'm gonna be in the musical Fela!," she confessed. "I hate to disappoint the people and tell them that it's not true."

The 'Say My Name' star admitted that the band hoped to appear on stage together "one day" and recored a new track over the festive period.

The band recently announced the release of a new compilation of love songs, which includes the first new material from the band in eight years.

Destny's Child will release 'Love Songs' on 29th January.
