The 'Crazy In Love' singer says the artists are attempting to recreate their R&B sound of the 90s.
Beyonce has confirmed that she's worked with the likes of Justin Timberlake and Pharrell Williams on her forthcoming new album.
The 'Love On Top' star has been working on her fifth record for much of 2012 with details about the album kept under wraps.
Ne-Yo had previously confirmed that he had teamed up with the female superstar and there was speculation she'd joined forces with Justin after the artists were spotted leaving a recording studio in New York together.
However, speaking to the new issue of GQ magazine, Beyonce has now given full details of the artists she's teamed up with, and her decision to do so.
"I've been working with Pharrell and Timbaland and Justin Timberlake and Dream," she confessed. "We all started in the '90s, when R&B was the most important genre, and we all kind of want that back: the feeling that music gave us."
