The US couple's fans have taken to Twitter in large numbers to share their love for the faux movie trailer.

Beyonce and Jay-Z have become the subject of an online petition for them to create a feature length movie from their recently launched 'On The Run' film trailer.

Both artists starred as a pair of outlaws on the run in the mock trailer, alongside a host of Hollywood superstar cameos from actors like Sean Penn, Jake Gyllenhaal and Blake Lively.

Fans are now clamouring to convince the superstar couple to create a full theatrical film form the trailer, which teases story-lines, characters and action set-pieces, all to promote their new joint tour.

"Millions of fans across the world became devastated after seeing "coming never" at the end of the exciting and action-packed 'RUN' trailer," the fan who started the petition writes on Change.org. "We, the BeyHive and JAY Z fans would love for our two favourite artists to actuality make a full length movie based off of the trailer.

"We love you B and Jay, you two have to make this happen," they added. "Please, the world wants the "ON THE RUN" movie!"

Fans online across Twitter seemed to agreed with the petition, which already has over 1000 votes since its launch yesterday, and have been tweeting their approval.

Beyonce and Jay-Z are set to kick off their 'On The Run' tour in North America from 25th June in Miami.
