Beyonce And Jay-Z Make First Public Appearance Since Blue Ivy Carter Birth

The '4' singer and her 'Watch The Throne' rapper husband enjoyed a night off from parenthood at the basketball.

Beyonce and Jay-Z stepped out in New York City last night (20^th February) for their first public appearance together since becoming parents.

The married couple welcomed daughter Blue Ivy Carter on 7^th January and yesterday marked the first time they had been seen together, when they sat courtside at Madison Square Garden for a basketball game between the New York Knicks and the New Jersey Nets. 

Beyonce donned a bright yellow blazer and skinny jeans for the outing, along with blue nail varnish in honour of her daughter, while Jay-Z dressed down in a grey jumper and khaki trousers, while they watched the warm-up performance and game. 

Earlier this month the 'Countdown' singer and her rapper husband released the first images of their new born daughter via their own website and shortly after Beyonce made her first post-baby appearance at Jay-Z's Carnegie Hall benefit show.

Producer and song-writer Ryan Tedder, who penned Beyonce's hit 'Halo', recently revealed the 'Love On Top' singer has started working on a number of musical projects in recent week.
