The 'Countdown' singer says she couldn't believe the press were speculating about whether she was really pregnant.
Beyonce has opened up about the press rumours last year that she had been faking her pregnancy, describing the allegations as "crazy".
The 'Love On Top' singer was accused of wearing a fake baby bump after an appearance on an Australian talk show in October 2011 appeared to show her bump folding as she took her seat.
"That was crazy," Beyonce told People Magazine about the rumours. "It wasn't hurtful, it was just crazy.
"[I thought] 'Where did they come up with this?" The 'Countdown' singer explained. "It was a fabric that folded - does fabric not fold?Oh my gosh, so stupid."
She added: "There was so much love and well wishes from all over the world - it made it easier to deal with the stupid rumours."
The '4' singer has been named the most beautiful woman in the world by the publication as part of their latest issue, and admitted the title makes her feel "crunchy" and embarrassed.
Beyonce is set to make her live stage return, after giving birth to daughter Blue Ivy Carter in January, with three consecutive shows at Revel Atlantic City from 25th May.
