Beyonce And Jay-Z Buy Birthday Girl Blue Ivy $1 Million Nursery?

Baby Blue, who is one year old today (7th January), now has her own nursery at a basketball stadium.

Blue Ivy Carter, the daughter of Beyonce and Jay-Z, is celebrating her first birthday today (7th January) with a particularly extravagant gift.

Blue has been bought a private suite at New York's Barclays Centre by her father Jay-Z and mum Beyonce, where she'll stay whenever her father performs on stage or is watching a basketball game.

According to US Weekly, the suite at the Brooklyn Nets stadium where Jay-Z has been a lifelong fan is "filled with toys" to keep her entertained and costs $1 million a year to rent.

The daughter of the 'Bonnie and Clyde' singers is used to expensive gifts. She was given a $21,000 'fantasy crib' when she was just five days old, and also will eat at a $16,000 high chair lined with Swarovski crystals when she's old enough.

It's rumoured that Blue Ivy will have a birthday party today with guests including Coldplay frontman Chris Martin's children, Apple and Moses. Chris and his wife Gwyneth Paltrow are close friends of the famous music couple.

Beyonce has recently announced she'll perform at the Superbowl halftime show next month.
