Sorry, Crocs are a thing now.
We already know Ariana Grande is a pop icon, but now she's adding fashion icon to her CV as well. The 'boyfriend' singer channelled her inner VSCO girl and rocked the world's most controversial shoe, Crocs – and the internet doesn't quite know how to feel about it.

Ariana debuted her new style in her latest Instagram post. Ariana gave the thigh-high boots and super sleek ponytail the night off and instead opted for a baggy jumper and Louis Vuitton bag. However, the most shocking element of the whole ensemble was Ari's shoes. The singer was wearing white socks with matching white crocs and it was…kind of a mood.
But wait, haven't we seen this fit before? An oversized jumper? Check. Hair accessories? Check. And a pair of white Crocs!? Check. Ah, yes. Ariana is a VSCO girl now.
A VSCO girl is the classic "Tumblr girl" of 2019, known for their love of shell accessories, scrunchies and hydroflasks. They also use the VSCO app to edit all of their photos. VSCO girls have been getting a lot of schtick for being basic but, if Ariana's wearing Crocs they must be a thing, right?
Anyway, Ari's footwear choices have left many of her fans conflicted.
