Adele Not Singing James Bond Theme?

Film producers claim they are yet to decide who will sing the new James Bond theme.

Adele has not yet been signed to sing the theme tune to next year's James Bond film Skyfall, despite recent reports to the contrary.

The 'Someone Like Me' singer hinted back in September she would begin work on a new theme song later this month, leading to speculation she had agreed to perform the film's opening track.

However, film producer Barbara Broccoli insists they are still to decide on an artist to record the 23rd James Bond theme.

"We've been considering several people but we haven't got anyone to announce at this stage," Broccoli told the Daily Star.

Several other prominent artists are said to be competing for the coveted accolade including Canadian singer Michael Buble.

Adele underwent successful throat surgery in America yesterday (8th November) to repair her vocal chords and is expected to make a full recovery.

Skyfall began filming in London earlier this week and is scheduled for release in cinemas on 26th October,
