The 'Rolling In The Deep' singer says she plans to meet up with songwriter Paul Epworth very soon.

Adele has updated fans on the progress of her highly anticipated new album and has revealed it is "not very far along" at this stage.

The 'Someone Like You' singer is starting work on the follow-up to her hugely successful 2011 album '21', and gave the first hints about her new record during the Grammy Awards 2013 on Sunday night (10th February) in Los Angeles.

"I'm not very far along at all," Adele admitted backstage at the Grammy Awards this past weekend. "I'm having lots of meetings.

"I've been in LA the whole time since the Globes and I'll be here till the Oscars,' the 'Rolling In The Deep' singer revealed. "So I'm having lots of meetings but I've been out of the loop really.

"I've just been singing my baby nursery rhymes so I don't really know what's cool and what's not!" Adele admits. "I'm definitely going to visit with Paul Epworth and talk about doing that again.'

The UK singer-songwriter also opened up about the adjustment of becoming a mother and balancing her new priorities with her music career, after welcoming her first child at the end of 2012.

"I've been up since 6am so I'm quite tired. It's nice [as] I haven't been as stressed out," the star explained. "You have to prioritise what you get stressed about when you have a child, I've been getting my mind around it.

"Normally I love getting my hair and make-up done, but this time I was like, 'get off, get off!'" she added.
