The 'Rolling In The Deep' singer's family are said to have "politely" declined the star's generous offer.

Adele has reportedly offered to buy each of her close family a smart flat in central London, just weeks after being named the highest earning young musician in the UK.

The 'Rolling In The Deep' singer allegedly told her seven close cousins she would happily buy them a new home each, but was "politely" turned down for her generosity.

"Adele wanted to spread her happiness and success through the family," a source told the Daily Star this week. "But they politely declined the extremely generous offer.

"Adele loves her family and is close to her aunties, uncles and cousins," the source explained. "They're proud of her success, but work very hard and are self-sufficient."

The 'Someone Like You' star's aunt Anita Atkins told the publication the family "all lead out own lives" and wouldn't like to take money of the singer-songwriter.

Earlier this month the UK star was announced as top of the newest rich list charting the highest earning music stars under 30, with a reported fortune of £30 million, followed by Cheryl Cole and Leona Lewis.

Adele is rumoured to be planning to wed boyfriend Simon Konecki this coming summer with a fifties themed wedding, after giving birth to their son Angelo in recent months.
