The 'Rolling In The Deep' singer speaks just days after fashion designer criticised her weight.

Adele has said she feels comfortable with her figure – just days after fashion designer Karl Lagerfield called her "a little too fat".

The Chanel designer made the comments in an interview with Metro New York, but he did go on to say the 'Someone Like You' star had a "beautiful face".

Speaking in a new interview with People magazine, Adele said she felt comfortable in her own skin and believed she represented the majority of women.

"I've never wanted to look like models on the cover of magazines," she said. "I represent the majority of women and I'm very proud of that."

Meanwhile, in another interview with 60 Minutes, Adele has spoken candidly about her recent recovery from throat surgery.

The star was forced to cancel tour dates in the UK and America last year after developing an issue with her vocal chords.
