Adele And Ed Sheeran Nominated For Best Album At BRIT Awards 2012

The 'Someone Like You' singer has been nominated for her second record '21', as has 'Lego House' singer Ed for his debut studio album '+'.

Adele, Ed Sheeran and Coldplay are among the music stars nominated for Best Album at this year's BRIT Awards in London.

PJ Harvey and Florence & The Machine are also shortlisted for Mastercard British Album Of The Year.

The BRIT Awards will take place at London's O2 Arena on 21st February with host James Corden.

Adele has been nominated for her hugely successful second album '21', Ed Sheeran for '+' and Coldplay are in the running for the prize with 'Mylo Xyloto'.

Voting for all of the categories at this year's BRIT Awards has now opened, including the British Single award, which is voted for by listeners of Capital FM.

Each listener who casts a vote for British Single will be entered into a competition to win a pair of tickets to this year's ceremony.
