The 'Rolling In The Deep' star's Grammy Award winning album has reached a new milestone as it continues to dominate Billboard chart.
Adele's multi-award winning second studio album '21' has managed to sell over nine million copies in the US, it has been announced.
The 'Someone Like You' singer's record has also moved back up the Billboard 200 chart taking the number two spot once again this week behind Carrie Underwood's 'Blown Away'.
The album sold 101,000 copies alone in the past seven days and is only the 29th album since 1991 to reach the historic landmark.
'21' has dominated on the American chart rundown since its release and is now spending its 64th consecutive week in the US chart.
Meanwhile, Adele was one of the big winners at this year's Ivor Novello awards and picked up Songwriter Of The Year, and thanked her critics of debut '19' for helping her shape the sound of her latest release.
