Get Well Soon! 5SOS’s Ashton Irwin Recovering At Home From Appendicitis

5SOS drummer Ashton Irwin is recovering at home after having his appendix removed.

5 Seconds of Summer’s resident hot boy drummer (well, they are ALL pretty hot…) Ashton Irwin was admitted to hospital with appendicitis on Tuesday but is now recovering at home from his operation. 

The band were back home in Australia when Ashton started suffering from appendicitis and subsequently had an operation to remove his appendix in Sydney.

The boys were due to fly back to the UK for some performance commitments but had to cancel all commitments for the next two weeks to give Ashton time to recover from his op.

Ashton tweeted:

Sup guys! I'm so sorry too anyone I've let down, I promise we will make it up too ya! I'll be better soon, thanks for all the love xx
