Reason For Nomination: Lewis raises money for charity, goes to an advanced course at the Sage Academy of Performing Arts and manages to study for his GCSE's at the Duchess's Community High School in Alnwick.

In April 2011 Lewis came up with the idea of presenting a 12 hour radio show to raise funds for Carers Northumberland and Lionheart Radio.

This took place on 18th April from raising a considerable amount which was halved between the two charities. Lewis was invited to 'The Northumberland Carers and Volunteers Party' in June at The Alnwick Gardens, where he was introduced personally to Her Majesty the Queen.

He also presents a live weekly show from the station on a voluntary basis. Lewis was recently honoured with the Child of Achievement Award in the Pride of Northumberland Awards.

The Route: Lewis will be the penultimate torchbearer on day 27 of the Torch Relay. He will pass the flame on to the final torchbearer of the day who will light the cauldron at the Evening Celebration taking place in the grounds of Alnwick Castle at Alnwick pastures.
