You season 2 fans are convinced Joe isn't the father of Love's baby

Netflix viewers have a wild You season 2 theory about Love and her pregnancy and it actually makes a lot of sense.

You season 2 has inspired many theories and this one about the father of Love's baby sounds like it could genuinely be true.

You returned to Netflix with its second season last month (Dec 26) and it's safe to say that it didn't disappoint. In season 2 of the thriller series, Joe Goldberg (Penn Badgley) relocates to LA in an attempt to hide from his ex Candace (Ambyr Childers), stalks and dates aspiring chef Love Quinn (Victoria Pedretti) and finds himself involved in even more murder and crime.

On top of that, season 2 is filled with huge twists and turns and it's led fans to devise multiple intricate theories about the ins and outs of the series. First things first, fans believe that Joe's new neighbour is his mum, then there are viewers who think that Love poisoned her dead husband, James, and now fans reckon that Love is pregnant with Milo's baby, not Joe's.

Is Love really pregnant in You season 2? Is Milo the father of her baby?

In the You season 2 finale, we find out that Love started stalking Joe before he did. She even studied him to make him fall in love with her and then killed Delilah and Candace to "protect" him. Learning this, Joe wants to kill Love but stops when she tells him she is pregnant with his baby. They then cover up their crimes and move to the suburbs to start a family together.

However, fans don't think the storyline is that simple. Love only tells Joe she is pregnant when she realises that he wants to kill her. She literally tells him to save her life. We later see her pregnant so it seems likely that she isn't faking the pregnancy but what if the baby isn't Joe's. During the series, Love breaks up with Joe and dates her ex Milo. Could Milo be the dad?

One viewer tweeted: "Since Love is a professional liar, what if the baby is actually Milo’s and her saying she told him to use protection is just an excuse for Joe to stay with her." Another added: "I believe the baby is not Joe's its Milo's. After Love broke up with him she had sex with Milo. Love and Joe didn't get back together until he was getting ready to leave LA."

People are also guessing that Love got herself artificially inseminated specifically to trap Joe. A fan wrote: "That isn’t Joe’s baby either and I don’t think it’s Milo’s, she has a lot of moneyyyyy."

It looks like we won't find out who the real father is until season 3 but it seems possible that it's not Joe.
