Selena Gomez and Jake T. Austin have also hinted at a Wizards of Waverly Place reboot...
Wizards of Waverly Place fans gather round. David Henrie has sparked reboot rumours with a recent Disney meeting.

Ever since Wizards of Waverly Place ended back in 2012, fans have been desperate for the hit show to return. People cannot get enough of Selena Gomez, David Henrie and Jake T. Austin playing the Russo siblings and neither can we. Not only were Alex, Justin and Max all iconic wizards in their own right but the show was hilarious and up there with Disney's best. Now it looks like Disney could be doing a reboot of the TV series.
Recently, fans noticed that David Henrie uploaded a photo of him at Disney studios on Instagram stories. Standing next to a Disney+ sign, he tagged Disney and wrote: "@Disney+ - let's do this". Disney+ is of course Disney's new streaming service. David could just be meeting to discuss how old episodes of Wizards will feature on the platform, of course, but could the Wizards cast be working on something new?
If that weren't enough, Jake T. Austin has also just retweeted a very (!) suspicious tweet. A fan of the series tweeted: "Raven is back, the Jonas brothers are back, Hannah Montana is back. I think we all know who’s turn it is" and then posted a video of the Wizards of Waverly Place intro. And, sure enough, Jake retweeted it. David has also retweeted the tweet with a very intriguing "🤔" emoji. (!!!)
Selena Gomez hasn't said anything on the matter this year but in 2017 she did take to Instagram stories to share a video of her and David Henrie reuniting and discussing the show. In it, she said: "David I think we should do a reunion" and "Should we just bring Wizards of Waverly Place back?" She's also been spotted with David multiple times since. Essentially, all the Russo siblings are in.

Obviously, there is no official confirmation yet but, given all of this evidence, it doesn't seem out of the question to guess that Wizards of Waverly Place may be returning. Plus, in the past few weeks alone, the Jonas Brothers have come back, Drake & Josh have announced a reboot and Hannah Montana has returned. Could Wizards of Waverly Place be next?
