Archie is still on the run, Veronica opens an illegal casino and Betty gets sent to the Sisters of Quiet Mercy in the trailer for Riverdale's 'The Man in Black.'
The trailer for episode 7 of Riverdale season 3 has arrived and it looks intense.
According to a press release, the synopsis for episode 7 reads: "Fearful that he will be caught, Archie (KJ Apa) hits the road and ends up at a farm outside Riverdale, where he meets Laurie Lake (guest star Riley Keough). Meanwhile, after Alice (Mädchen Amick) takes extreme measures to ensure Betty’s (Lili Reinhart) safety from the Gargoyle King, Betty finds herself up against a formidable foe from her past. Finally, after learning that La Bonne Nuit is in trouble, Veronica (Camila Mendes) makes a risky business decision that could cost her everything."
Episode 7 is set to air on December 5th, and it will be the penultimate episode before the mid-season finale, which airs on December 12th. And judging by the trailer... it's going to be a very, VERY dramatic episode. Let's take a deep dive, shall we?
Jughead, who decided to find Archie to warn him about the 'sacrifice' symbol that's been branded onto his flawless torso, is now on the run with him. But like, does FP even know where he is?! Are they on the way to Toledo to hide with Gladys and Jellybean? WHAT IS HAPPENING?
Veronica literally just helped bust his ass out of jail and now he's getting off with Laurie Lake?! ARCHIBALD, I DID NOT RAISE YOU LIKE THIS.
"Veronica makes a risky decision that could cost her everything"? Alright, there's two things that could go wrong here...
1) Ronnie enters a dramatic high stakes game of Blackjack and almost loses everything she's worked for or... 2) we discover that Hiram had that portrait of V bugged before she hung it up in the speakeasy and now he has leverage to ruin her. Place your bets.
At the end of episode 6, Alice sends Betty to the Sisters for her own protection, which, as we all know, will NOT end well no matter how good Alice thinks her intentions might be. (Also, Lili Reinhart really wasn't as sneaky as she thought she was about this big plot twist...)
Can't these parents just send their kids to a nice mental health professional instead?! I BEG YOU.
Why is Sister Woodhouse such a BITCH?! Why is Ethel with her?!
Brb, just heading down to La Bonne Nuit to place my wager.
(It's not. It's not cute. For the love of god, can we just shut this place down once and for all?)
WHO IS THAT?! IT LOOKS LIKE SOMEONE IN THE SAME UNIFORM BUT WITH RED HAIR?!
